Video has been solved for a decade. Audio in the room has not. AllEventCast delivers the programme feed to the phone every attendee already brought — as a replacement for the PA, or as a second path alongside the one you already trucked in.

The premise

A PA is a compromise you stopped noticing

A loudspeaker system fills a volume of air with one signal at one level in one language. Everything difficult about event audio follows from that single fact.

The front row is too loud and the back is too quiet. The breakout on the other side of the airwall bleeds through. Someone hard of hearing signs out a receiver from a bin at registration, if the bin was stocked. A second language means a second room, a second interpreter and a second set of receivers. And the attendee who could not travel gets a recording next week.

None of that is a failure of the equipment. It is what putting sound in the air costs.

The phone in their pocket is a receiver you did not have to buy, ship, charge, sanitise or count back in.

Deployment

Three ways it goes in

Most integrators land on the second one. It is the lowest-risk way to add capability to a room without touching the design that already works.

Replacement

No PA at all. Meeting rooms with no installed system, outdoor sites under a noise ordinance, historic venues where you cannot fly anything, load-ins where the audio budget did not survive. The programme goes straight to phones.

Extension

The PA stays exactly as designed and specified. AllEventCast runs in parallel off a matrix output — picking up the back of the room, the overflow, the concourse, the lobby, and everyone attending from elsewhere. Nothing in the existing system changes.

Assistive & multilingual

A per-listener path at a per-listener volume, in a per-listener language, on a device they already know how to operate. No receiver inventory, no neck loops to issue, no interpreter booth to build.

In extension mode nothing upstream changes. You take a matrix or auxiliary send off the console you already specified and the existing loudspeaker design is untouched — which means it does not need re-tuning, re-commissioning, or re-signing off.

The last two rows are why we lead with extension rather than replacement. A stream needs working data service and arrives a beat behind the loudspeakers — audible if a listener has one ear on the PA and one on a phone, irrelevant if they are in the overflow room or at home. For a keynote where failure is not an option, the PA is the primary path and this is the second one. Say that to your client before they hear it from someone else.

Accessibility

The receiver bin problem

Assistive listening receivers work. The failure is almost never the technology — it is that an attendee has to identify themselves at a registration desk, ask for a unit, discover the batteries are flat or the bin is empty, and wear something that marks them out in a room of peers.

Listening on their own phone with their own earbuds asks none of that. It is the same gesture as checking the agenda. For attendees using hearing aids with a phone streaming profile, it goes straight to the device they already wear.

On ADA compliance

Effective-communication obligations under the ADA depend on the venue, the event, the request and your own written policy, and specific technical standards apply to assistive listening systems in assembly areas. AllEventCast can be part of how a producer or venue meets those obligations. It is not, by itself, a determination that you have met them, and it does not automatically satisfy any specific standard.

Do not put a compliance claim in a client proposal on the strength of this page. Have it evaluated against the venue's accessibility plan by someone qualified to do so.

Commercial

Expanding the reach of a system you already own

Once the audio is a stream, the audience for a session stops being the number of chairs in the room.

Paid remote access

Sell a listening pass to people who could not travel, at a price that has nothing to do with your room block. A sold-out general session has no upper bound.

Overflow without overflow AV

The second room does not need its own system, its own tech, or its own line item. Attendees in it are simply listeners.

Sponsored channels

A track or a stage can be presented by a sponsor, with the read delivered in audio rather than on a slide nobody looks at.

Multi-track without multi-rig

Six concurrent breakouts, six channels, one setup. Attendees move between them without moving rooms.

Fewer trucked receivers

Assistive and interpretation receivers are inventory with a real per-event cost. Some of it stops being necessary.

Language reach

A regional event becomes attendable by people who would not have registered for an English-only programme.
